Accucold has launched the LAB8R6 ultra-low temperature chest freezer, designed for reliable storage at -85ºC for laboratory and life science applications. Manufactured in Denmark by ELCOLD, it offers 3.08 cu.ft. of storage with 4.5″ insulation and a static manual defrost operation to maintain the integrity of sensitive materials. Key features include front-mounted digital controls, a temperature range from -50 to -85ºC, high/low temperature alarms, and an audible alarm for power failures. The unit also includes locking casters for mobility, a keyed lock for security, and ships with six vertical stainless steel box racks, meeting UL and ANSI/NSF-7 standards for use in the US and Canada.
